The FOX network's most successful series to date was a spin-off from The Tracey Ullman Show. Originally appearing on that series as a 1 minute filler. Fox Broadcasting president Peter Liguori has high praise for The Simpsons. The Fox animated series will return for its 18th season this September, and is still showing no signs of slowing down.

DAMN IT I LOVE THE SIMPSONS SO MUCH I HAVE TO YELL IT! hehe. I think the funniest characters are the Crazy cat Lady and her throwing of cats, Ralph Wiggum and his slow and dumbness, Homer and his stupidity, Marge and her ways of thinking like the 60's and her lameness on Bart's birthday party, Grandpa Simpson is comically senile(Like grandma Georgina in Charlie and the Chocolate factory), Grandma Bouvier and her hating Marge, Patty and Selma dissing Homer, oh what the hell I love them ALL!

I do, but I like the older ones. I've seen some of the newer ones and it seems like they've run out of material....

I love seasons 1-8 when they were funny. When they started to concentrate on Homer they ceased to be funny. More Bart next year, PLEASE!

i like the new episodes but the old episodes were kind of cheesy
