This going to sound like a right laugh but i bought a calorie watch.
On ebay you can pick them up for next to nothing.
What you do is look at it and you think ok i am on 2000 calories . i worked really hard for 20 mins cleaning and even walked around the back yard 4 times.

i thought i have to go for 1500
i did and i got 1490
being me i thought nahhhh i want a nice round hundred to finish on.

on 1300
it works with your heart beat i think.
I also found stretching did me alot of good.
My advice seriously is to get ahold of the rocky soundtrack and just replay the lot
The motivation i get from it is amazing
