In a world where it's so hard to trust people, this another blow.

Although I've been on the site myself since Tom created it as a teenager and careful, I would of dismissed the thought of it being dangerous until I read an article of a girl being raped and killed who would be my age currently :|

However after reading requests from 10 year olds to date on yahoo answers, this has to go out to the parents, friends and loved ones for those who know the most innocent, naive and vulnerable that use sites.

The net can be a great place put it has it's downsides with severe consequences.

This incident happened a year ago a young girl was raped and murdered by a man she met on myspace. There have been countless incidences with children being lured and raped in their home to identity theft to name the least. The scariest part of this is, she was my age, thought she knew better but fell into the palms of the creature she met. Take heed.

(f) RIP Taylor

It's not a question, it's a warning to those who care, the question sign comes automatically.

Watch your manners, I do this to let people know because I care and have had this happen to someone I love tonacl 1.

I put my picture out for my own reasons, to have face when I stand up to my beliefs. i'm not afraid like you.

Thank you for your compliment though, you should read my other debate on "why those who insult us (or judge us on how we look) don't have pictures of themselves."

I have no contact details, or my name, so lay off and show some respect to Taylor.

The point of this was for the message, not my picture you shallow you digusting piece of ****.

If you don't want to read it, don't. No one is forcing you, keep your shallow ignorant comments to yourself. Okaythanksbye.

Thank you lucky, I will do. I think you should teach SOME adults some manners and parenting tips.

You're 13 and very wise, only if we had less adults like tonalc1, the world would be a better place. Selfish, shallow people only get so far in life.

Her only concern would be the 2 points, criticising a person's picture and achieving best answers (which she has put no thought into) she gives on an this site. What a humanitarian!!

Yahoo Answers can be used for so much more than talking about natural disasters.

Tonalc1, -5 points off yahoo answers does not do justice to a precious human life lost!

Lucky I commend you, you read my post and took the message. There is hope in this world <3

youare so right. myspace is a kiddie porn site that attracts rapists, murderers and online predators. what good girl is going to show 'HER STUFF' to all the world. get real... kids, beware~
alot of the specials have shown old men who portray themselves as teens and have prior arrest for child abuse, etc.

Your Very Right Internet can be a great thing to go on .... but not these days internet is more explid than Tv ..... I am a very young person myself ...But i have a great head on my shoulders and I dont talk to people and go on things i shouldnt .....I think if more kids thought like me then they wouldnt be lured into stuff like chatting to older men and women that can hurt them .... you just keep posting this and help get the word out !

This site needs to figure out how to seperate the age groups, or educate everyone that there are children on here posing questions and reading answers, and probably old people acting like others too.
Thank you.

OK, you've posted this essay five times now.

If you're so concerned about the net (including this site) being so dangerous, and we should be cautious, why do you post a sexy picture of yourself on it?

Take heed yourself.
