My personal opinion is, we the public don't have a clue what our Prime Minister has to deal with daily. There are certain people who will do whatever they believe necessary to rule over us on this earth, it's gone way beyond politics and the way T.B. started out as a politician. The dictator who is no more wanted to rule the middle east, is that the way we would rather have it...and then where? We are in a spiritual battle....
Can i just say maybe there are some who might want to change there views on what Christians are about..TB. has the courage to stand up for what he believes and carries it out on the strength of his convictions...being a Christian doesn't mean you agree with everyone and always turn the other cheek, if threatened, we will stand up for what we believe and the UK is under threat, but some won't understand to what extent. Does anyone know who will take T.B's place, we are going to need a Strong leader, and after he's gone, we might want him back.....
Well that's me unpopular....but i'm in good company!!??
Sorry about this, ...or am i.....the statement below is incorrect.....
the benefits awarded were not long term, they were awarded for a short term usually 3 yrs, until the person was able to work again....i could say lots more but maybe this is enough to get some thinking....

What good has Blair done or shown hes sent our boys to a war built on lies and deceit. Soldiers are trained for warfare its there job but what there not trained for is to be used as pawns on chess board of the world and lost in battle for the sake of 1 mans ego to support anothers ego (Bush).
Blair spends more time galavanting and having feebees here there and everywhere. His wife is the leading QC on human rights (no surprise there seeing as she had the legislation before anyone else and earns a pretty penny as a result) so why are we paying for this freeloading leader and his offspring.
Blairs goverment have wasted millions of pounds cos his cabinet are stupid and throw money into one bad idea after another. The money Labour have wasted could have helped the people of this country with better NHS, better education, better emergency services.
They say Charity begins at home but Blairs forgotten where home is and what he was elected to do.
When Labour do lose the election and they will. The goverment taking over will not have the money that the Tories stock piled at their disposal - Labour squandered that.
Thanks to Blair this country has borrowed so much when Labour are removed from power any new goverment will have to make hard and painfull decisions and its cos of Labour that Britain will be plunged into high interest rates and high taxes, but they wont be blamed cos it'll be the new goverment who take the flack.
Browns figures dont add up and its doesnt take a member of Mensa to see that things will get worse when a new goverment is elected to put right Labours legacy. Only then will the balance of this country is restored.
Thank Blair? Thank him for what?

No one in the whole wold likes Blair, i mean like they said before he's an hypocrite, he's just following Bush in every step like a dog without thinking if what he's doing is good for his country or not. I can't understand how does he put UK such a good country in the same side with two countries which have the worst reputation.
America which is still standing on the red Indians bones, and the provoker or every problem in the world. And Israel which can't stay a moment without doing a massacre or killing a child. Too bad!!

he he - no, how he started has not been forgotten!!!! How he used show business and fuss and bluster to pull the wool over many peoples eyes as to his true political intentions. He hood winked many labour supporters and at the same time, wooed many disgruntled tories with little other option.
For that he will always deserve credit. It is what he is best at - keeping everyone happy for a while with very little. He also deserves credit for some of the social changes he has made here at home. But thats about it. From my point of view. Not that there has been one single decent contender in the entire time he has been in power.
He will be remembered as the statesman he wanted to be known as but it is a worry as to what exactly his part in the history books will say - only time will tell and it may not be as pretty as he hopes.

I was a member of the Labour Party(when it was real, not made of plastic smiles) for 8 years. In 1997,I worked nights, got up after 4 hours sleep and went on the leafleting houses bit.I was a 'labour party activist'.We had a big party when the Tories lost and labour were 'in' for the first time in 18 years.Within 8 months,I realised I'd been conned by Blair and all his spinning tops.LIARS,CHEATS,LIARS (again) and professional politicians, whose only goal is to stay in power. The worst government in my lifetime.OUT, BLAIR NOW!

Blair is a liar and a hypocrit. Honestly that is probably why he is so despised, he started out as the leader of a LABOR party, a party that is known for being more liberal, and unquestioningly and blindly supported George W. Bush and his fake wars since. It's hard to see the good in someone as spineless as Blair.

well i personally think Blair has actually done wonders for this country considering what he inherited, but people will only know him for the iraq war which i think is a pity.It show how fickle people actually are. The main problem with British politics is that only short term problems can be fixed. But that's where dictorships can be good thing as they have time to change longer term problems.

What has he done for the people of this country? Nothing! Taken us into a war we didn't want while back home there are more important concerns - families are being made homeless, we have 1 million unemployed and our resources are being stretched beyond their limits by immigration. The man needs to be replaced and fast.

That man makes me ashamed to be British. He is wickedly collaborating with the plan of his masters over the Atlantic to subjugate the poorer parts of the world in order to take their natural resources - and he doesn't seem to care what damage is done to achieve this. What he has done (without the approval of his people or even his government) over the past few years is unforgiveable - and the hypocrisy of his claiming to be a Christian makes it all so much worse.
