I am from South East Asia but here in UK now..been out clubbing twice with fellow students from uni.. there are 2 couples among us, but the 2 guys are always dancing sexily with everygirls, sometimes few girls.. their gfs dun seem to mind.. but I cannot help my sense of guilt, cos the 2 girls are like my best friends so far.. and I really dun feel comfortable with that.. but if i dun dance with them, I am left out.. perhaps I should stop going clubbing with them...?

Yeap! That is the UK and the great West for you.
Subtle as a brick!
Don't become like them as you are true to your innocent inner respectful nature created by your deep ingrained culture that has been taught by your family.
Doesn't mean what they are doing is wrong though, just means you have more respect for showing your inner feelings.
Watch and learn but that doesn't mean that what they do you should do too.

I don't think that the boyfriends are doing anything wrong as such. If their girlfriends don't have a problem with their behaviour then I don't think that there is much you can do. Afterall, it is their relationships. Maybe you can try talking with your friends. However, if you feel uncomfortable with the behaviour of your friends then maybe you should just stick to socialising in other ways e.g. cinema, theatre, meals etc. Perhaps you can go out with additional people aswell. Or, why don't you join the International Society of your university and then you can meet people from a similar background who you may feel more comfortable with. Take them clubbing with you .I know that you have probably gone abroad to discover new things and experiences but it doesn't hurt to have a little taste of home once in a while. Don't sacrifice your own beliefs and respect for yourself for the sake of friendship.

People dancing with their friends in clubs is perfectly normal behaviour and often isn't considered a particularly sexual/romantic activity (though I suppose that kind of depends on how you dance). You can dance with anybody you like, you only need to be worried if one of the guys gropes you or tries to kiss you. If you think English people are bad, you should try going out dancing with Latin girls, what they call "normal" dancing has would probably get you arrested in many countries :P

If you feel uncomfertable dancing like a cheap tart then don't. You have self-respect and are not easily won by losers that go for your friends. Don't give out the impression that you are cheap and easy.

I don't know if its common - I would slap my boyfriend if he danced sexily with another girl. Its just the boys you meet I think.

If you don;t feel comfortable with it, don;t do it. I know some guys(and girls) do that. Some of them don;t seem to think anything of it. I am English and I would not like that.

Yes, you'd better do that right now because you won't lose a thing by getting rid of these two buggers and their sodden gf's.

don't know.. I wouldn't like it if I was out with my man in a club and he started doing it... quickest way to get a pint of beer over his head and a wet slap!

If their girlfriends trust them then why not, or prehaps the couples don't take eachother too seriously and therefore they don't mind it.
