You can wear a non-black suit anytime you wish. There is nothing at all wrong with showing up in navy blue, brown, tan, etc. Red, yellow, purple, pink, orange, etc. suits would be incredibly tacky, but understated colors (such as my first examples) are fine.

I think a full suit in a dark color would be quite uncomfortable in summer temperatures. Try a linen suit, that way you don't have to worry about a tie and jacket and long sleeves. Oh how I love linen suits on men, the way they hang on y'all's physique, oh it's so sexy! Try an oatmeal, sand, tan, powder blue or seaweed type color. Something neutral or coral colored then you'll be stylish and keeping cool at the same time.

This all depends on how formal the wedding is to be.
If you are only a guest, you are normally welcome to ware any color suit that you please.
Unless you know for certain that this is either a very formal wedding, and or the service is at night. If that is the case a black suit would me more proper.

definitly. for a summer wedding dressy linen suits are nice. ralph lauren has nice linen for a more preppy look seersucker is a good choice as well. go for light color combinations also. try brooks brothers as well they're having a major sale.

sure its your wedding do it how you want to. It doenst have to be traditional to be the best and most important day in your life... wait you are the groom right?? cause if not then of course you can wear whatever color you want to!!
