I have never been there but I think it would be an interesting country to visit. There is a lot of history there as well as an interesting culture. I know it is the largest agriculture producer in the EU. I know it also has the highest unemployment rate in the EU. It is a country that is mostly catholic. The break down of the Soviet Union was also started in Poland with the Solidarity movement. Poland has been ruled by many different countries over the course of its history as it is a path for invaders in between east and west

Was born there, lived till age of 15, moved to US for another 15, live in Spain now. Poland is great for a visit, I must say, not longer, cheap place to partey, and spend money, lotsa fun people, and good night clubs, pretty girls and cute guys.
For a visit- YES!
