LOL!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? No way are you attributing an outgoing Presidents prank as an act of domestic sabotage. First all the "W"s were removed by Bill Clinton all outgoing presidents have pulled a prank on one another. Second where in the hell did you get the phone thing. More Republican made up crap I guess (Like Sadam has WMD's). The "Liberals" you are talking about were mislead into going to war with a nation that had NOTHING to do with 9-11 (which is why we went to war in the first place REMEMBER). I'll also add that no one, NO ONE was against going after Afghanistan and the little bratty rich creep who was actually behind the 9-11 attacks. Back to Iraq, they were then told that Sadam had WMD's and was prepared to use them. How long have we been in Iraq and still haven't found the WMD's? Then this idea that we are going to democratize Iraq can into play. Which is Bush's way of saying "We are gong on another crusade boys, YIP YIP YIPPIE!!!!!!" Get the facts straight.
I must say that you made my day by making the link between a prank and an act of terrorism. I bet Bushy boy thinks your right and we should arrest this culprit immediately.

Where to start.
1) Thanks for the comment on moderate dems. i agree
2) Not that many moderate dems are cutting over. maybe in the suburbs, but in the city they're still in the core. Maybe that's because there's a larger population of minitories in most city centers, i dunno. I just remember from doing some political research a while back that this was pretty true.
3) Agreed, moderate dems still love their country. It's a shame they don't speak up.
4) I think the deleting of the "w" keys was less a liberal thing and more of an asinine, juvenile thing done by beltway insiders who had their toys taken away from them.
5) It's hard to call who is a terrorist and who is a potential terrorist, and whether people who don't like the way the country is are potential terrorists. that's a slippery slope. I don't like the reduction in freedoms we've seen, but I understand why some folks feel safer with less freedom. And maybe to some extent they're right... but that doesn't mean everything they want is right... or wrong.
As a country, we've gone from criticizing the behavior to criticizing the person. It's a bad way to go, and no matter how patriotic, neither side has a monopoly on it.
thanks for a sane posting despite the inflammatory topic.
A moderate dem who hasn't jumped ship.
Peace

I am not too sure about some of the stuff that you have said, whether it is true or not, but in theory I do agree with you. In my opinion anyone who believes that protecting our country is a big mistake then they are an idiot. It is the same type of liberals that you speak of that have made it to the point, that our military men and woman have to BUY their own boots. Taking care of this country has not been a very important issue to any politician for a very long time. However it has become more important to the Republicans than it has to the Liberal Democrats. They are more interested in how we look to the international community. Especially to the ones that do not like us. But then again the ones that do not like us are the same ones that flew plains into three buildings in this country, killing thousands of people and destroying more lives than we can imagine.

First, that story about outgoing Clintonists sabotaging everything was completely bogus.
It was, in fact, a story foisted by the Bush White House.
Second, conservatives are interested in bankrupting this country. It took Clinton 5 1/2 years to clean out the deficit left by 12 years of ReaganBush and left office with a surplus.
It took George 19 months to wipe it out and plunge the country into terrible debt.
Third, patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.

No they aren't. You know what I am sick of? Republicans demonizing anyone who disagrees with their facist ideas of what democracy is supposed to be about. What freedom is truly about. I also love all the lame *** cliches like "cut & run." If you are in a war for the WRONG reason, if your retarded president lied and started a WAR that we shouldn't be involved in, we should leave. We are making the same mistake the USSR did by trying to win a war against a bunch of people living in the sand. If you think it is a right war and we should stay forever then I better see your cowardly *** sign up for the Army tomorrow. Republicans can not admit they are ever wrong, just like Christians. Whoops, I guess that is why so many Right wingers are so brainwashable and feel it's okay to FORCE their view on everyone else.
#1 reason republicans are doing it wrong is because they are doing it for Jesus and not what is right for our country. Seperation of church and state. Bill of rights. How republicans love to ignore it.
I can say that far left wingers aren't on the right track either with their crying and whining. The problem with both of you is your inability to meet in the middle and do what is right for everyone and not just YOUR side. You both contribute to the destruction of justice and truth and the American way. Nice work!!
F the right and F the left, oh and F you.

The last paragraph is actually not true. Not only did the Whitehouse never
publish it, but when it was point blank if it was true, they denied it.
Certainly outgoing people were asked if it was true and they denied it
but I would expect you to not trust that because they were, after all,
Democrats and cannot be trusted.
Karl Rove is very good at planting rumors, and I believe this is one of them.
Note, I am not pointing my finger at all Republicans. I am pointing my
finger at one: Karl Rove. I am not making a generalization - I am making
a direct accusation.
You are trying to paint an entire political philosophy with an ill-researched
brush. Your crowning fact has been DENIED by the Whitehouse. Are
you calling them liars too?

I really hope you are kidding and dont honestly believe that. First of all.....I am a die hard democrat .. along with my husband who may have very liberal views, but for his LOVE OF AMERICA, is currently in Baghdad fighting this war....... that from your statement he must "want to lose". My guess is that you are off sitting on the sidelines or watching from the safety and comfort of your own home...but sure enough, quick to bash someone who has a different viewpoint from yours. If you ask me the real terrorists would be people like you ( either liberal or conservative ) who try to stir up trouble and controversy to separate the American people even more !

Your ignorance of politics proves you don't even know what's going on. America was founded on liberty, yet when one fights for his God given right to live his/her life as one chooses then you want to call them a terrorist. I am an American and according to the constitution only gold and silver can be used as legal money in America. Whoever forces you to use federal notes (the Feds)they are the terrorist my friend. Your just to ignorant to see how you and the rest of America are slaves to the Fed's by using there worthless money. You have God giving right's that are acknowledged and protected by the U.S Constitution yet, you'd rather pick irrelevant intellectual fights with people than to fight the real terrorist which is your own goverenment. You won't se it untill it happens to you because your selfish. The war in Iraq is just a practice war for the one they are preparing for right here in America against all citizens. In 1932 the war against American citizens was already declared. See your in the middle of a war and you don't even know it. Worst of all you don't even realize that you are supporting the very ones who enslave you. Oh your not a slave are you??? Can you drive in your own car wihout having to ask permission first?( get a license, insurance) If you own a house how can they forclose on you even if you've finished paying for it unless you never really owned it in the first place.(Read your deed to the house). Stop being ignorant and picking fights with people just for the sake of arguing. Fight for liberty and justice. If I'm not free my friend then your not free. You belive that the government is an American government but it is not. It is a Federal Government. The Federal Government is a private organization(they tell you that right in there statues) By you using Federal Notes which is money they the Feds created, not the gold and silver Americans are suppose to use then you in fact are declaring that you are not an American citizen but a Federal Citizen and are now not subject to American law but Federal law. So if you want to be a federal citizen then go ahead, let them tell you what you can and can not do. As for me I am an American Citizen and I stand up for the US Constitution. America has no business in Iraq except that it is forced to be there by the Feds. They try to justify why they are there but those in the know, know that it is just practice for the invasion they are planning for America.

Your dividing your country with these false and insulting statements. At a time you should stand together, you choose to reject people who have a different political view. It's ironic and sad that you wish to force democracy on the whole world but can not take it yourself.
But go ahead,as a communist hippie I'm very happy that I and my loony left friends can take over soon thanks to your actions.
But on a serious note, please check out this link and think about it.
Feel free to let me know what you think about this.
