i removed all the lower casing bolts and all covers . there are no more faseners to remove and the back half seperats but not the front under the piston section

-Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions.
-I can't look at the schematics for that engine without knowing that info.
-Did you remove the upper case bolts? (if there are any).
-Did you remove the flywheel and stator? (stators are usually bolted to both case halves).
-Did you remove the clutch and shift linkage? (get a shop manual to show you what has to be removed).
-The cases are probably stuck together because of a misaligned or rusted dowel pin. With the motor upside down, put a block of wood at one of the forward motor mounts of the bottom case half (the case is strongest there)(put a bolt in the motor mount for the wood to grab). Hit the wood with a hammer. Some engines have "pry" points. A place to use a screw driver to pry the cases apart without damaging the mating surfaces. Since I don't know what bike you have, I don't know if your engine has them. So don't try prying them apart!
-If cases don't want to come apart, there's usually a reason. Check, double check and tripple check.
