Okay it took the UN 2 days to decide on the wording for a cease fire .... 2 days, how many people in 2 days, Israeli and Lebannese, died in that time , and they couldn't even agree on what wording to use .... Come on the UN is a farce, lets be honest about this international community rubbish, Koffi Annan is just a pacifist with no political bite. We're better off without the UN its just a talking shop , all say, no action.

Definitely pants! The U.N. is a useless, ineffectual organization run by corrupt politicians from second and third rate nations! They talk a lot, but never take any action, and on the rare occasion that they do, the lousy incompetents only make things worse. If they had done their job right and enforced their resolutions, the U.S. would not be in Iraq right now!

I think Jared Israel or attorney R. Cleark (not the other Cleark, God forbid) should be the new UN Secretary General. The monkey (kof is a monkey in Hebrew) is not a pacifist but a Clinton/Albright appointee.

I agree, the UN is pants, but it could make a positive impact on the world.
Get rid of veto votes, they're terribly unfair and undemocratic and let the UN recruit it's own standing army.

The UN is useless because non of the security council countries are willing to let it have any authority. If the UN had some teeth, they might have been able to intervene.

The UN is as much use as **** on a boar. It takes so long, when people are dying, to agree on a paragraph. I would get rid of them all and start again, bloody tossers !

Hi, I dont understand your question but do understand your comments. I agree, I dont see what the UN is doing for us but it would be alot worse without them. We would have already been nuked. They are not doing much in our eyes, but so far they have kept us from not being nuked in this world. Dont know for how long though but I get what you are saying.
