Water can short out the spark plug wires... you might check in your spark plug holes and see if there is water down there... we dry them out with compressed air...

on newer cars you cant really clean them off like you could the older ones there are a lot of things that don't need to get wet,,it probably got the cap,,or wires wet,,you can dry them-out with wd-40 this works well,,or compressed air will do the job good also,,don't worry it will dry out and be OK,,but there are a lot of electrical parts there that don't need to get wet,,i own a repair shop,,and usually clean all engines before i work on them,,you,ll be OK,,once it dries out.

Does it have a distributer? Check that out to make sure it's dry inside. Fuel pump could be bad. Fuel filter could be cloged. If you have a lot of wiring like all these new cars, it could be a lot of sh*t.

It could be your fuel filter or PCV valve. There are other reasons but those are the most frequent and cheapest to fix.
Look at www.autozone.com enter your car's information and they will guide you to the right parts and tell you how to install most of them!

First give it a tune up including new wires and see if you still have the problem.
