how do nascar drivers go to restroom being on the track so long?

OK, let's try and clear this up. This question comes up often, and there is a bunch of misinformation. Drivers going in their suits may happen from time to time, but it is very rare. Let's say the average race lasts 4 hours. Are you in the bathroom every 4 hours? The average person doesn't need to go that often. Yes, most of the time a driver will sweat out more than what he puts back in. It's not rocket science. You would probably see this problem more at your local short track when Larry Racedriver slams down a coke and climbs into his street stock for 25 laps. I've been around racing for years and not that anyone would admit it, but I don't know anyone that has done their business inside a race car. I think it's a bigger problem in off road endurance racing like the Baja 1000. Besides, didn't your mother always tell you to go before you get in the car? Good rule.

First of all it is so hot in the cars usually they just sweat it out but in the case that they do have to go they go in their suits. It's so hot it evaporates within seconds so I guess you could say our boys wet themselves

some of them just go in their suit, david coulthard has that problem where he gets nervous before a race a lot and apparently has to go and pee a couple of times before a race

they don't, because they are losing to much fluid to have to think about running to the toilet. they drink in at pits as much or less as they put out.
