If you are asking a question like this, then you have no clue how Windows works and could be very dangerous with some of it's secrets.
Regedit is one command that is very useful, but if you abuse the registry, anticipate reloading windows.
There are soooooo many different things to do, but almost none of them for the standard user.

"cmd" is the one that brings up the command line. Honestly the most common one I use is "ipconfig" for network connection status.
