That show makes me laugh, I mean... seriously.. the look rediculous up there, and you know what? America votes based on looks, and charm. Except for on American Idol where, Taylor Hicks was voted for. He has some seroius entertaining talent. But at the same time people especially soem females didn't vote for the girl, because they were jealous. it's just not fair to some of the contestants. But at the same time, she did seem really sure she was going to win... SO it's hard to say..
Bafoons, if you ask me. Real tallent is found on the road, eating left over food, with YOUR guitar, and YOUR own voice, traveling to bar to small club, showing everyone who you are.
These people... need OTHER people's music, and other people's instruments... which are still mostly synthesized, to even SOUND half way decent.
I've listened to some local bands, and local singers, they sound ALOT better, than most of the contestants on television.
Real America has talent, popculture america doesnt.

Well the TV show America's Got Talent might as well be called America's Got Freaks!

Some people who know that they have no talent like to get on those shows for publicity. There are a few legitimate acts out there who need the exposure. Some with no talent get high accolades (Taylor Hicks for example). the best talent is discovered by record executives, producers, agents etc.

I have come to the conclusion that TV can be summed up into 3 catagories. Not judging just sorting.
Pretty People w/ Problems (Soaps, real or scripted )
Dead People and how they got that way(CSI, etc)
Stupid People looking for attention(any thing reality)
Also it annoys me to no end at the shameless way TV networks put the word America in every third TV show title , and the sheeple watch the crap .

america is talenltless yet show 'reality' shows that tries to seek talent. being an american, im ashamed to see all those shows on my tv. america needs to get a talent show called 'get a life'
