If it was a Singer maybe but has little value. a Brother much less. They use 100+ year old machines in factories today. If they were worth more as antiques, the owners would have sold them long ago.

Try contacting the Brother Sewing machine co. They may be interested in it themselves. Sometimes an old appliance like this is valuable only to the manufacturer for their own museum.

Sewing machines are considered "white elephant" collectables, there were soooooooo many sewing machines made that unless it is a very old or unusual it won't be worth a whole lot. Just enjoy it and use it!

An antique is 100 yrs old, by definition.
Something that is old & pretty cool is what my mother (the antique expert & dealer) called "Interesting Old".
I'm not saying that it's not worth money, depending on condition & type, but if it's not 100 yrs old..... it's not an antique.

Machines are hardly ever considered antiques. Don't get your hopes up to much.
