When the TV and walls unexpectedly make a popping noise. The TV could have been turned off hours ago and I don't know if its static or what but it pops and the closets do the same. I always remind myself that no one's coming to get me but it makes me jump a little. Or if someone stacks the dishes wrong in the dishtray and one of them falls and clings against something else, it's kind of scary. I know that happened two years ago at my friend's mother's house. He had just gotten killed and she had her kitchen window open late at night. We all were sitting around quiet and all of a sudden, a tray in the kitchen slid and fell after we had just gotten through talking about him. Even some of the guys jumped up and headed for the front door, it was funny after we figured out what the noise was, some people thought I guess his ghost had come through the window and into the kitchen, lol!

When my mother in law spends the night and she gets up at 3:00 am. to use the bathroom. She bangs into things. I'm not afraid she'll get hurt, she's just creepy.

i'm usually the one that makes the bumps in the night, usually the cat making noise startles me though.

All of them... I'm a chicken... but especially when my puppies, who sleep in my room, all of a sudden get in a fight or growl... makes me jump everytime...
