It's your lucky day. I'm a bass player too. I only have a string though. I haven't ventured into the unknown yet. As I'm sure you know, not all music requires it. If you look up the music that you're looking for here it will be obvious. It's tab so you'll see right off the bat. You can just Yahoo! "bass tabs" or something to that affect.

If u mean bass licks then i find the best way is to listen to a song over and over again and find the notes little by little and remember the shapes, then your skills at recognising notes and pitches developes better than looking at tabs. I can play a bass line now by just hearing it.
