Then i had a hard time getting back home with my kid because my buss pass of course was in the stupid wallet. So was all my cash so we couldnt stop for breakfast like i promised. Tell me my day will get better!!!!

Well, some people win lotteries. Hopefully you will beat the odds too, and get your wallet back, intact. However, the odds are against it. You might get it back with your bus pass inside, but probably not with the cash, or any credit cards. Better get on the blower quick and notify anyone who's credit card you were carrying, and bank cards, and any of that other stuff, that you need a replacement, with a different number. Report it to the bus company, and also report it to the police.
Right now, you are at risk for identity theft, and that can be a serious concern.
Hope you get lucky, but don't depend on it. Be proactive and protect yourself.

About 2 months ago, I lost my house keys. I wasn't smart enough to have a friend or family member hold a copy for me, and as a result, I was locked out of my house for 2 days. My ex-boyfriend (who is now a friend) actually helped me break in. (Boy, were my cats happy to see me- and the food I finally got to give them!) I changed my locks, and life goes on. Why did I share this story? Because a few days ago, in the mail, I got my house keys. I had one of those grocery store cards on it, and someone actually dropped them in the mail when they found them. They went to the grocery store, who in turn mailed them back to me. Granted, it's too late, and I don't need them anymore (all I had on the ring was house keys, no car or extras), but I NEVER expected to see those keys again. I honestly don't expect you'll ever get your wallet back, but there is always a chance. There are good people out there, even in the middle of the biggest, most crime ridden cities. And yes, your day will get better.

There is a chance that an HONEST person will find it, then you will get everything that the wallet contains back, but if someone less honest finds it, takes the cash, and discards the wallet out in the street where it can be seen, then there is still a chance yoiu will at least get back your papers, but if they discard your wallet in a trash container, chances are that it will be lost forever.
Sorry I couldn't be more optimistic.

If you get an honest person, you may get it back. Check with your local police department. If you aren't so lucky, someone will take out the cash and throw the rest of it in a trash can. Hopefully, they don't use anything that was in it! I trust you have canceled all credit cards and such...

If i had found your wallett, I would give it back to you cuz i would want the same thing done for me if it was the other way around. It's very slim that someone is going to return it in this day and age. sad, but true. Start by cancelling your credit cards

You may get it back but most of the time your valuables will be gone unless a honest person picked it up. Things will get better, cancel your credit cards and you will feel allot of relief! The bright side is, it does happen that you may get it back with everything just don't get your hopes up too high, pray........

I am sorry to hear about your day turning out to be so bad, but the odds that you will find your wallet are slim. Good luck though finding it.

About as likely as seeing Osama, Saddam and Fidel performing in a rock concert singing "Born in the USA!". I sure hope you canceled all your credit cards in your wallet.
