I purchased an Electrolux vacuum last summer. It was the $2,500 one. I am really irritated to think after that much money, the filter that clips on the top of the machine needs to be replaced. AT $70 PER FILTER!! What a rip off. Anyways....... can any of you tell me where is the most reasonable place to get these filters (internet or elsewhere)?

That is why I buy vcumes at local stores for 100-200$, use them a year or two. Then they quit, so buy a new on and start over.

i just did a search on ebay, i typed in "electrolux filters" and got 60 item hits, ranging in prices from 99 cents upwards of $49.99 of course shipping is extra.

here are some other links you could try

http://www.vacuumcleanershop.com/electroluxpopup.htm?WCW=GOOGLE
http://www.geyservac.com/
http://www.svcvacuum.com/electrolux/electrolux_vacuum_bag.htm

but to be perfectly honest, you got scrood when you bought that, i have a bissel i paid less than $50.00 almost 3 years ago, and still runs as good as the day i bought it, only had to put 1 new belt on it. but for what you paid for your electrolux, it should clean the house by itself.

Lady, you could have spent 400.00 and gotten the best vac. cleaner out there. Buy a Dyson, they are awesome!!! In fact, my Dyson ate my Kirby. Thank Gawd.

Do you have Target stores? That's where I got mine. Maybe you can go to their website and buy them. UM, I think Sears has them too, come to think of it.
