The radical Left and any Left is known as substandard in the UK, but the PM's and the Queen all mark these figures with such high respect. No one argues with the principles of Jesus but so many argue with the principle of communism. Jesus was radical Left.

4th answer - Soviet Union was not real communism, and both Jesus and the Left place high regard on the common good.

Jesus was radical left, but not communism left. The one dimensional political scale of left and right can be very misleading. Jesus was more 'voluntary' left - not forcing anybody to follow him. rather than compulsory as in the Marx type of communism. Jesus was also not in favour of killing people so much (and not an atheist). Marx however was in favour of revolution through arms and killing people who opposed Communism and also against religion. So Jesus and the communism of Russia and China are very different things.

if you are of any other faith other than christian, you would argue with the principles of jesus, and so is the far right, a mark of respect is not given like a prize it is earned for endevour ,i dont see anyone to whom i would give the respect of my vote, do you.
you cannot argue the merits of communism, whilst talking about the values of jesus, the two do not go together, one a ideology, the other a faith that was persecuted by the former, how do you arrive at the conclusion that jesus was a radical left, he was a non political figure, persecuted for his beliefs, by a corrupt, roman goverment, supported by a corrupt rel;igeous doctorine, if any thing he probaly was the first reported freedom pacifist.... There was nothing about Jesus that was left-wing. He is the exact opposite of Left-Wing.
That's why God & Jesus were banned in the Soviet Union. All religions were banned in those communist countries. No real religion is left-wing.

A lot of these politicians use religion to push their agenda. With respect to Christianity, this has been done in pampant numbers. What makes it worse is that Christian leaders have sold out for the all mighty dollar and align themselves with politicians and ideas that are not Christian in nature and in some cases contradict Christianity itself. A good example of this is the acceptance of homosexuals into the Christian faith. Homosexuality is forbidden outright in the bible but these Christian leaders accept homosexuals because they realize that the Homosexual community has money and power.
