No, democrats believe in democracy, which is the power of the people, and the people being the government, Not political leaders. Democrats go with the flow, of the average person, not the insanely rich, or the stock owners. But the every day working america.

THey believe in Unions, and medical help, We pay thousands of dollars in taxes every year. I'm 21, and i already paid 1,900 dollars in Federal taxes, and it's only August!
Democrats believe in social security, every year you pay hundreds to thousands of dollars into it, dont you want it back when you get older when you can no longer work and earn money?
Democrats believe in women's rights. Women are paid 25% less than men in the same field of work...

Democrats believe in Pro-choice, They believe in letting the women decide what she wants to do with her body.

Democrats believe in our ecosystem, democrats are green thumbs who believe in keeping the enviroment healthy, and livable for our future generations.

Democrats believe oil shouldn't cost so much, because there is no reason why the prices have gone up.

Democrats are against guns, Most violent crimes end in with shooting a gun, illegally baught, and a death.

Democrats believe that our education system is most important, and deserves a bigger budget, and you are a product of why they believe that.

Socialist & Communist, is differant.

communism

n 1: a form of socialism that abolishes private ownership 2: a political theory favoring collectivism in a classless society

A.K.A. Everyone owns about the same things, and value.

Republicans cant be socialist, ONLY Because They make the rich richer, and the poor poorer....

Democrats feel that everyone should have the saem opportunities, and those who work for it, should be able to earn what they deserve. NOT VERY COMMUNISTIC.
Free medical, is an act of socialism, though. And democrats feel everyone is entitled to medical treatment. But Britian has the same thing. and they are not communists.

I'd say so. They've taken a stance where they're promising to take care of everyone, and that's not only impossible, but not healthy. They want socialized medicine like Canada, while Canadians who need a serious surgery come here because our doctors are better. They want to increase the wages of the lower class and pay for their programming by heavy tax's on the upper class. Why bother excelling when your punished for being an achiever and gifted for being lazy? They've been shifting this way for years. It's kind of like they're trying to buy votes. I've always thought that the fundamental difference in today's GOP and Dem parties are that the Dems promise to provide happiness for everyone, while the GOP promises to provide an environment where someone can achieve happiness for themselves. That, more then anything else, is why I vote Republican.

All I know is that there is basically no difference between Democrats and Republicans anymore, they are all payed for by the aluminade or however it is spelled or whatever they are called. -The one world power. It is taking over and any minor differences between the two parties are just a distraction for the real issues here which are being covered up. The American public is being fooled. Our society is gradually losing all it's freedoms. Have you ever watched the movie"Freedom to Fascism" You should watch it, it shows exactly what is going on behind the scenes. It is scary.

If anything, the Democratic party has been being pulled RIGHT just
to stay relevant.

I've now heard several times that Barry Goldwater (famous for how
conservative he was throughout the late sixties) would now be
considered a liberal.

This generation of politicians could not come up with the various
civil rights bills of the 60s - they'd never get off the ground.

Actually, most Democrats have moved farther to the right on economic issues, as evidenced by Bill Clinton's nearly unbridled support for free trade. For more information on how the Democratic party has moved farther to the right on economic issues and has continued to alienate the conservative working class Americans that once composed their base, read Thomas Frank's "What's the Matter with Kansas?".

Well we have tried the greed ridden, pathological lying, incestous, murderous, impotent form of politics by this administration so maybe it's time to be a bit socialist in our actions.

Let's fire all current politicians and do away with politics and start a new government entirely. It's time for some hard core regime change in DC baby.
