a princess is actual royalty, and she can be an heiress too, inherting her dad,( the king's) fortune, and when you're royalty, you live the ultimate V.I.P life, and your like a movie star in the country your a princess of and people around the world have wanted to become royalty and they are famous without doing stupid stuff to get noticed, and being a princess is cool because it's not only a fairytale:)

an heiress can never be actual royalty because she doesn't have it in her blood, heiresses have to do stupid things to get noticed like PARIS HILTON),

I agree with you. Being a princess is, of course, way better, because you are born into a life of attention.
Some people spend their whole lives searching for fame, (no offense to them) but if you are a princess, it's easy. All you have to do is be born, and you are automatically somebody important.

Being a princess probably isn't easy, though. I admire public figures who care enough about their position and the people they represent to avoid stupid stunts and take the moral high ground.

P.S. I love your hair!

Ah, but the princess has to live up to a certain lifestyle that an heiress doesn't. I'd much rather live a lifestyle like Tory Spelling than poor Princess Diana. Look at Diana's poor sons now....stuffy lifestyle, limitations. Now look at the lifestyle John F Kennedy led...heir. See the difference? The difference is a certain FREEDOM.

see, i don't think being an heirsess is neccesarily a bad thing. not all of them are like paris hilton. You have to admit that she has done her share of work to get herself even noticed. and some people really like her. Plus, an heiress has to earn respect so you know that if she is looked up to it's because she deserves it and if she is not it's because she deserves it. if you are a princess people will only pretend to respect because they feel they have to but may secretly hate you. i don't think i'd want people to kiss my *** out of fear or cuz i'm "royalty" i'd rather them just like me for who i am.

I know it is sappy but how about just being rich in spirit & love. My dad was the son of an Earl in England, and gave up his title to his younger brother for love. Married my mother and had 3 children. And seemed so much happier than my Uncle. And died with more money than my Uncle. Mostly because he was an entertainment lawyer. He also did lots of civil rights cases pro bono. And my Uncle never made anymore money just spent what was there and sat on the House of Lords you still had to be "royalty: to sit on the house of Lords. So I guess it comes down to what is really important to you.

i'd rather be an heiress, bc a princess is her job and she has responsibilites where as being an heiress you inherit everything BUT if i was an heiress i wouldn't be a skank like paris hilton and i'd actually give to charities and do something with my money to help others like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt *so dreamy*

Athina Roussel (Ari Onassis' grandaughter and sole heir to his fortune) has lived a more or less private life, allowed to do as she pleases.

When I think of princesses, I think of Princess Diana - and poor Princess Margaret (Queen Elizabeth's sister) - who've had loveless marriages, and whose love affairs were more or less played out to the public.

Heiress, depending on to who (i.e. Bill Gates, etc...) they would have much more money than any run of the mill Princess!
