It doesn't matter if you are not as outgoing as your sister, everyone has their own style. There are going to be people who prefer your style more than your sisters. Tips for auditions
1. Make sure you have practiced, and that you know the piece off by heart, so well, that nothing, even nerves won't throw you.
2. Good actors make people believe, why? Because THEY believe what they are saying. Believe in your text, even if it is the most stupid stuff, make it yours.
3. Theatre is generally about being 'large' or 'big'. Doesn't matter what your natural style is, push it to the boundaries, and explore every nuance. The Director is going to want to see that you can play, that you are a thinking actor.
4. Get a good nights sleep the night before. Too many wrecked auditions happen because of late night cramming, leading to tiredness, memory loss and lack lustre energy.

Be ease to work with. Directors don't want to work with people who are going to be a pain in the butt.
Be prepared. Know what they are going to ask for with singing, with acting, and read the script over and over before you go in. Show them that you are not playing around.
Be professional. Go in well dressed. This is a job interview. Treat it like a job interview.
Be ready to work back stage. High school directors like people who are willing to do everything. Be willing to work lights, sound, props. Show the director that you are willing. The next show they will remember. Plus I learned that I like Tech a great deal, and I learned a great deal about being an actor after doing that.
Good luck. Have fun. Also remember that I get turned down for about a twenty rolls for ever one I land I turn in ten scripts for every one that hits. So don't worry if you don't get a roll.

alright the most important thing is to have fun. even if you mess up its ok. if you keep going and pretend it didn't happen, chances are that the audience wont even notice that you made a mistake. and also, about the whole sister thing, you are a different person then she is. you may be in her shadow now but you can choose to get away from that. I have a friend whose brother was the greatest singer/actor in our school. My friend lived in his brother's shadow all through high school, and he never left it. he always tried to be better than his brother but of course he couldn't because his skills weren't in singing and acting. oh he was a very good singer and actor but his best skill was comedy. but no one ever told him that because they were to starstruck by the brother so they just let him make a fool of himself by doing things he couldn't do. dont repeat my friend's mistakes, get out of your sister's shadow and do your own thing. and if its acting so be it, just don't try to up your sister. Good luck at audtions, or as we say in the acting world...Break a Leg;)

Just make sure when you try out that you speak clearly and loudly (they are looking for people who can be herd in the back of the theater). Try to relax, its easier to be believable as the character. And most important know the lines and the songs. Good Luck ----- Or as we say Break a Leg!

When you're up there auditioning let go of yourself. You just described yourself as "not as outgoing as she is and i cant act and sing nearly as good as she," but forget all that. That's why it's called ACTING. You become someone else.

When you sing, sing full out with your entire heart. Don't shy away. If you screw up, don't let it show.

I know you can do it! Good Luck
