I want to override the governor for driving on the autobahn, but am having a difficult time finding a chip. Who sells them for my car?

chip ( 90% of the aftermarket performance chips have this option look in the ads in a U.S. car mag ) They also will let you change your shift points this is important if you want to go really fast cause due to the high gearing in your car it will actually slow down when it shifts into top gear ( out of the power-band ) ALSO when you install look for one that DOES NOT need premium fuel and keeps the stock thermostat ( for better perf. on Euro gas ) AND NOTE that your tires are probably designed for max cruise of 112 mph (H series ) you will need to upgrade to V rating or better AND last of all you may overheat since your car is not designed for high speed cruising at high RPM ( OK I'm done )

You can order either a "Superchips" or "Hypertech" tuner. They run about $400.00 American and can remove the REV limiter as well as the SPEED limiter, and can alter your transmission shift points as well.

WARNING---> When you do this (perfectly legal) you do open yourself up to a law suite in the USA in the even of a traffic INCIDENT!
An oily lawyer can make a case for YOUR bad driving attitude if it is found that you have modified your vehicle in this manner, EVEN IF the incident is found to be NOT YOUR FAULT!!

That said, they can be purchased from any one of a number of Internet-based providers. Do a google.
