While I'm well aware that this is a fictional character we're talking about, I'm being serious, I thought Matel was making an effort to create some new aspect for their 40 something year old doll.

yes this did happen actually. she dumped him last valentines day. it was sad. she was interested in an austrailian surfer dude.

Yes it is true and there is a rumor that Barbie may die ( retire ) this year because she is not making money for Matel and she is worth more dead than alive.

My mom never let me play with Baribie because she was not a married doll. I had to play with dolls that were married and more wholesome. Barbie was never married that I know of.
