I'm where you are at right now. I've been off work for about 3 yrs. Try not to feel bad about it. Women have stayed home for years. Not as much now as before but they still do. You are still working even tho your home. You are still contributing to your family. Its hard to stay home when your used to working but we have no choice. I hope you get better. That is terrible about your accident. I'll keep you in my prayers!!!

In a traditional family, the wife stays at home to take care of the kids, do the household chores and keep the family house a home. The husband, on the other hand, goes out to work to provide for his wife and kids. However, things have changed during this modern time where both husband and wife pursue their respective careers and both contributing to the family finances. Nowadays, we can still find some stay-home moms not because they refuse to go out and work but because they choose to take care and rear their children themselves.

well i think that it takes two now a days not just one. but i can say this if my husband hd a really good paying job and he told me i didnt have to work id work a part time job for a little extra money for me. but if my husband was in an accident and cant work then i would get a job and help. thats why people need to go to college to have something to fall back on if they ned to start working. good luck to you.

That is what men do. I do work outside the home but it is my choice. My husband pays ALL the bills and still gives me money plus I keep everything I earn.

People did it for hundreds of years, the womans place was in the home. There are alot of things you can do to earn money from home, so don't let that stop you from getting a job, if you need the extra income.

it doesn't matter who makes the bacon honey. As long as the person staying at home can keep everything nice and neat, and stress free for the person who does work, everything is perfect.
