Yankees all the way forever. My favorite team in all of sports. Mariano Rivera is my favorite athlete. Oh man, the yankees give you the best show on earth. Everyone loves the yankees, whereever they are, they bring sellout crowds. My license plate got the yankee's logo. I got seven different yankee fitteds. I got into a fight with a Met's fan back in 2000 because he was saying the yanks got lucky. I ran around my block when Boone hit that game winner against the red sox shouting yankees win yankees win (remember that was 12:30 in the morning) die hard yankees fan. All you Red Sox fans, ya'll can just suck my DlCK

To all you Yankee haters, the Bronx Bombers are a freaking rock group because whereever they play their fans follow. For instance, when the Yanks come to a city they bring about over 150,000 fans in a three game series. Tell me what other MLB team can do that.
The mystique of the Yanks have mostly take the life of any team that play at Yankee Stadium. If you make a mistake at Yankee Stadium you will regret it later during the game.
The Bronx Bombers are the greatest team in professional sports period. With 27 championships (the most in any sports currently). They have the most perfect games in MLB history with three (David Cone, David Wells and Don Larsen). Plus the only team that did it in the WS (1956 WS, Don Larsen).
A lot of fans complain that the Yanks have ruin baseball by buying players (why is that a problem when the Boss wants to win a championship so badly). Usually, spending money doesn't necessary guarantee championships (depends on team chemistry and a lack of injuries during the entire season).
You ask me why I love the Yankees those are my reasons and others like the following Hall of Famers such as:
Reggie Jackson
Babe Ruth
Whitney Ford
Yogi Berra
Mickey Mantle
Lou Gehrig
Joe DiMaggio
Casey Strengel
Waite Hoyt
Tony Lazzeri
Phil Rizzuto
I'm about to adlib what the immortal Joe D said in one of his quotes, "Thank God that I'm a Yankee fan".

As a Red Sox fan, my fondest memory of the Yankees will always be when they became THE BIGGEST CHOKERS OF ALL-TIME (2004) when they became the first baseball team in MLB history to lose a series after being ahead 3 games to zero. This is a record that CAN NEVER BE BROKEN only tied.
The Yankees have not won a World Series in this new Millenium. Long live the Curse of A-Rod!

I like the Yankees alot. Their pitching rotation sucks, but they at least have enough bat power to carry them at least past the 1st round of the playoffs. Take my word for it. When it comes down to crunch time, The Unit will pull it out for the Yanks.
