Where are all the police?

Is it me? But I saw only one police man the other day after travelling from Southampton to Birmingham and back!

Bin police targets , they are all rigged and crap!!!

Let coppers use their discression and intitaive again and there would be plenty out there tackling real crime !!!! Boy u hit a nerve with me .

The ones that are not hiding in police stations are either harassing innocent people somewhere, or manning speed TRAPS.
No sir, it is not only you! the only time you can find a policeman these days is when you don't need one!
But if you ever DO need one, you will find that they are BIOODY hard to get hold of, and Not all that interested in your problems.
One more word of advice, unless you want to get hauled down the nick and given a good kicking, NEVER ask one for the time!

i normally see the police after the fight has ended, after the robbery has happenned - when all the trouble is over??

there is a suggestion that people try to 'get by', that is they do as little as possible so that would suggest that is the reason you are more likely to get fined riding your bike on the pavement than arrested for beating crap out someone

also when i see a kick off, the levels of 'back up' in this country are obscene with up to 30 officers deployed to tackle a small fight in one area - i know we dont have 'guns' but thats overkill

i am not trying to make the honest hard working bobbies job any harder, but it seems if he just wants to go in and do his job then he has his work cut out for him imo

poor deployment of resources and recruitment imo

another worrying development recently is that, a lot of the people that had the easiest jobs in last places i worked (security etc) are now - wait for it,yes, thats right police officers ;o)

They are either snowed under with form-filling and tied up in all the Red Tape flung at them by this politically correct Government.,or they are sent on useless courses informing them how to not to infringe the Human Rights of all the scumbags they have to deal with day in day out.This only leaves them with 2 hours a week to attempt to do their jobs and if they are really unlucky this precious time is used up rescuing swans with fishing wire around their necks from canals because the damned RSPCA refuse to get off their fat a**es and attend to their animals in distress !

Or after watching that recent Channel 4 documentary about the British police, maybe in the police station watching either football or porn. Playing cricket in the hallways, Or if its after 1am they play hide and seek in the squad cars.

They are all in the police station filling out loads of forms after nicking someone or they are on sick leave because of stress, an injury picked up while on duty or just fed up with the p*****d up idiots they have to deal with every weekend.

I saw one police car on Thursday night with 4 coppers in it. They were speeding and going around roundabouts using the wrong lane, and overtaking loads of cars. Their blues weren't on, they were just heading back to the station as we were going the same way. Perhaps it was time for coffee and doughnuts..........

there is none they have speed cameras to do the work, the CSA has more staff now? I pay s@@t loads of tax to get my wheelie bin emptied. sorry i heard the police helicopter last night the t@@t work me up, somebody sabotaged a speed camera
