I was one. And then I became concerned when my "flow" increased. I was going through super tampons in less than 30 minutes. turns out that I was experiencing blood clots as a result of a fybroid. I ended up having to have a total hysterectomy. But, I am fine now. That was 6 years ago.

Just before menopausal symptoms began, I had a period last 13 days! My doctor told me that was not that unusual for my age. She did suggest I come in for bloodwork, to be sure I wasn't anemic. If you are concerned, certainly contact your physician.

It is normal to be irregular for the first few years of it I know people who were irregular for about 4 years before it fixed itself. Any longer then that and it means there is a problem.
