I believe that Derek does or did have a gift of mediumsip, but the way he presents himself now is a huge insult to the spirit world, Spiritualism and other mediums. The work he has done on shows like Most Haunted does not represent the work of true mediums, and I think he has done so much damage, because some either believe in what he does, or they can see he is being a mere showman, and tar other, more honest mediums, with the same brush. I personally wish he would step away from TV and allow other mediums to represent our work with the integrity it so deserves.

Yes he did I read a few pages about him in a book. I've watched most haunted and I believe in spiritualism, but umm Derek I do have some reservations!

well got all the most haunteds on dvd and love the show but derek is a bit of a player dont u think.

he was OK at first good for a laugh but then he seemed to go into actress mode for the camera then he got his prize his own show totally under par :-( ..

I'm not sure anymore, I have seen him live and he was impressive but seeing him on most haunted I'm not so sure. Especially when he kept being possessed and that time he was dragged down that underground corridor was so fake

I find it strange that every house he goes to, he always picks up the signals from some one that was 'brutally' murdered in some tragic ending to their life. Ha.
