Anti Abortion activist?????

I stay in Ypsilanti, every couple of days on Michigan Ave. right in the center of town during rush hour these anti abortion activist keep coming out and they are standing right on the side of the road with signs that have giant pictures of bloody deformed fetus's from abortions gone wrong. Now i have no problem with people voiceing there opinion but when your standing on the side of the road with a picture like that, youve went too far. People are picking up and driving around with little kids (the protestors had there kids out there too!!!)in the car and the little kids have to see pictures of this stuff. Last time I checked any movie with content like this is rated R. They also recently got a camper truck and a van with blown up pictures on the sides and back and peope just walking inbetween traffic sticking flyers through peoples car windows without asking. What is a parent supposed to say to their kid when they ask whats that??? To all the soon to be parents.........

would you want your soon to be child to see these pictures at a young age????

Oh and I just witnessed them cause a accident yesterday because someone was looking at their signs and didnt see the red light or the stoped car in front of him, the police seem to not care or cant do anything about it because the police station is RIGHT around the corner

There is nothing wrong with informing people but why cant you stand out there with a "Against Abortion??? Go to www....com" sign instead of a mauled up baby fetus, and then anyone that was intrested could be intrested on their own time instead of not bieng intrested and forced to see it and deal with people handing out flyers like crackheads trying to clean windshields while your stuck at a stop light. If i had kids and they got disturbed by one of those pictures I would take them home, come back and kick someones as*

This should be illegal! If TV has to give a warning for graphic nature then thses people shouldn't be allowed to show pictures like this to people's children! They can stand out there with their signs saying they are against abortion but pictures are not right! They should be arrested! Also they bother women going into the clinics and that isn't right either!

Well, that's a great question, and one that you'll get a big variety of answers to I'm sure. Now, I do not agree with abortion one bit, I think it is murder and just because it's legal and it's a "right" does not make it okay. I have a 1 yr old and I remember being pregnant and feeling her kick and seeing her moving around on the ultrasound and no one can tell me she wasn't a human yet! However, I do not pick up picket signs and stand on street corners protesting and showing bloody fetus pictures. I do see it as shocking and a little sickening, but I believe they are trying to do just that--shock and disgust people. I really hope I do not have to see the pictures, and I hope my daughter does not see them.... but I can't help but think that if this causes even just one pregnant young lady to change her decision from aborting her baby to giving it life, then maybe it's worth it. It's a perfect example of the freedom we have in America. Freedom to make choices, and freedom to protest the ones we don't agree with.

I realise that these protestors are trying to get people to understand what abortion really is, however, THEY are forgetting that there are two people who actually go through the abortion procedure: the baby & the MOTHER. There are a lot of hurting women out there and we are forgetting all about them. Yes, children are important, but the women are still here and need to be ministered to. They need to be loved and healed. They should be our focus. It seems like these women are hated for what they've done to their babies, but how many of us have TRULY been in their shoes. Can we really know for sure that we would never do that? What sad set of circumstances has caused them to believe that they have no other choice? Think about that the next time you say something bad about a woman who has had an abortion. It could be your daughter or sister or best friend who needs someone to stop condemning them and just love them.

Women can decide and their are free of their own body and their mind.
But I don't like those people who show many pictures of bloody deformed fetus's from abortions.
I never done it. But I know women who did it, and I admire them.
I know one thing , is that if one day I have to do it, it would be for many good reasons.
Some movies are prohibited because some scenes are too strong for young people, movies XXX are prohibited so, why those pictures in the street are not prohibited? That is the question!
Because as you say it, kids can see them, ask questions about it and we can't tell them that some women decide to not keep their fetus. They just can't understand how and why . They don't care about kids but only about the pictures of themselves.

I can understand how you may feel about these pictures but that is what the protesters want...they want to shock you and get your attention and let everyone know that abortion does kill a child not something but a child....we will go the outer limits to save a pregnant cat but when a women is pregnant we say it nothing important yet until its born so its ok for them to kill it...why did Scott Peterson get convicted of two murders when the state of california sees that a child in the womb is merely only a fetus and not a human being???? Doesnt make any sense...I know its hard to look at them but remember they are doing it not for fun or to embarrass you but to inform you of what is going on

It is important that these nuts be encouraged to continue to make fools of themselves. One of the benefits of freedom of speech is the illumination of the ideas of those that speak. And the way these people act reflects exactly on their beliefs.
These people believe in a hateful god. They believe in the harassment of women. They believe in killing doctors and bombing clinics. They should be interviewed and placed in front of America at every possible chance.
Most of America can see the hate that they propagate. And most people are turned off by what they do.
Most people know in their hearts that God is not a hateful God. They know in their hearts that God does not torture children or fetuses. God is a loving God and when He aborts a fetus in miscarriage he does not murder the child. God protects the fetus and uses its soul at another time. That is the only path a loving God could take. So there is no murder in abortion.
However a miscarriage is a bloody mess just as any other abortion. And those with evil intent could just as well call Jesus a murderer as they can call a simple woman a murderer. So we must use this error in judgment of using these pictures of these pro life sinners. We must let them destroy themselves. And we must show the world that abortion is not murder unless God himself is a murderer.

I think they have gone WAY to far. I am not for abortion and I discourage it, however without these clinics more babies are going to end up in dumpsters and who knows what else. People need to mind their own business and realize these girls only have God to answer to and no one else.
I dont know what I would tell my boys if we came across something like that. I hope we never do.

Someone should stand by them holding childbirth photos, especially ones where the female died during the birth.

It's sick to do what these people do on streets holding photos but then, the whole 'pro-life' movement tends to lie and deceive in the first place.
