It fell off the other day and I was really miffed because it went through the railings and landed on the by-pass. I was walking home from town and I just didn't expect that to happen.

Because your foot shrunk with the cold? Seriously if you buy shoes in the summer when your feet are puffy and swollen especially after having trooped around town all day and then put them on in the winter months when it is cold you will find they are slightly looser. Wearing stockings will also have made your foot more slippery. Or a totally weird answer could be you were abducted by aliens, they did a leg transplant and that foot is smaller than your own real one.....the shoe didn't fit and went flying off! :-P

I always wondered where the shoes came from on the by-pass! I just thought it was people randomly throwning them out of car windows, but now I know!

Saved me 5 points on asking a question, lol.

I loved the 'I just didn't expect that to happen' quote at the end of the question - made me titter, lol.

First I need to know what brand, style and color this alleged shoe was. I'll need to know the exact time, temperature and weather conditions during the incident. Next, I'll need any and all witnesses who could possibly verify this incident. I'll begin a thorough investigation immediately upon the receival of this information. When I know something, I'll contact you.

because you read on the label "Taiwan", so you did and it fell off. If you are not Scottish you will not get this magnificent play on words, but 10 points would be appreciated.
