I'm supposed to go to Cedar Point on Monday, and it's forecasts to rain!! If it does how can I make the best of the rainy day?
Do they still run all of the rollercoasters? or none at all?

I'll tell you this much, you should experience the Raptor when it is raining. I have been on the raptor in the heat of the day, at night, up front, in the middle, in the back, and during rain. You should make it your goal to get on as many rides as possible in the rain, the lines are shorter and it can be a great experience.

Rain will not hinder your day too much at cedar point unless it rains all day (which doesnt look likely)...A LOT of rides remain open during the rain, mainly the steel ones, and the rides that do close open usualy within a half hour after the rain lets up. There are mainly sheltered area so you wont get wet. Try out the arcades and shops when it rains. And the best thing about rain....the park wont be nearly as busy so when the rides are open many are little or no wait.

Well, they have shows during the afternoon. As soon as you enter the park, take the left path that goes by the Centennial Theatre for a show schedule. There are several rides that take place under cover like Cedar Downs. It depends on the severity of the weather what they are likely to shut down(see link). Wind and lightning are also factors. Disaster Transport in an indoor coaster, maybe that will be running. If it really starts pouring, go inside a shop or restaurant. If you like video games, check out the arcade off the Midway near Kiddie Kingdom.

Check link where it says Adverse Weather Conditions.

I live about 30 minutes from Cedar Point. You will have a blast even if it rains. I think they run some of the rides when it rains. But I'm not for sure how many.

Hope you have a good time. Rain or Shine!

here is from Cedar ingredient's internet site: extreme WINDS - those rides would close looking on wind velocity and direction: Demon Drop, Gemini, significant Wheel, Magnum XL-2 hundred, Mantis, maXair, mean Streak, Millennium stress, potential Tower, Raptor, RipCord, Sky journey, Skyhawk, Skyscraper, Snoopy bounce, area Spiral, good Thrill Dragster and Zoom Flume. ANY PRECIPITATION - those rides WILL close: 4 x 4's, project Raceway, Demon Drop, significant Wheel, Raptor, good Thrill Dragster, Wildcat and Woodstock exhibit. secure RAIN - All rides listed decrease than ANY PRECIPITATION and the rides listed decrease than will close: Calypso, Corkscrew, disaster transport, Gemini, Iron Dragon, Magnum XL-2 hundred, Mantis, Matterhorn, Maverick, mean Streak, Millennium stress, Skyscraper and Snoopy bounce. HEAVY RAIN - All rides listed decrease than ANY PRECIPITATION or secure RAIN and the rides listed decrease than will close: Blue Streak, Junior Gemini, maXair, Mine journey, Monster, Ocean action, potential Tower, Sky journey, Skyhawk, Snake River Falls and wicked tornado. LIGHTNING and extreme THUNDERSTORMS All rides would be closed for the period of the severity of the typhoon and could start to reopen as quickly as a results of fact the typhoon or lightening passes. As for the strains on Tuesday, the strains should not be undesirable, except a ton of persons confirm to circulate to the park that day (that's usually no longer the case on a Tuesday). Cedar factors states that Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are the perfect days to circulate, yet Monday is likewise sturdy. you will have a great time with out having to attend in long strains all day. have exciting!!

i was at cedar Point on monday and it did not rain at all. anyways, they only close rides if there is thunder and lightning or high winds. Only one ride will close in the event of just rain (more than a mere drizzle), and that is Top Thrill Dragster.
