Firefox is safer with better script blocking. Firefox does not recognise the silly Microsoft ActiveX, so it is totally resistant to those security problems. Use Firefox for browsing and searching to keep your computer safe.

Internet Explorer seems to be slightly faster. But use it only on known websites, and of course, to download Windows Updates and such.

Good luck.

Well I have experienced bothof them and couldn't find much differences except:

1. It's cool using Mozilla Firefox, coz it's new and incresing it's domainall over the world, IE is now old-fashioned.

2. Mozilla provides much expanded and much better Internet options, as General *Privacy *Content *Tabs * Downloads Advance.

* marked features are not fully or partially available in IE.

3. Mozilla is easy to use in accordance with it's Internet Options rather than IE.

4. Run Mozilla once and you will definately smell a change in speed of your acess, yes it would be increased. Stop using **** smelling perfume MS IE.

Do you want to know more, visit www.mozilla.com

They work pretty much the same, but Firefox allows you to keep several sites open at once, and to switch back and forth among them using tabs at the top of the screen. Firefox has better control over pop-ups, and I personally like it better.

dan.. makes a good point. firefox has somewhat restricted functionality on some sites, but that can be a good thing. the less you know about a site the less you want them to be able to do. whatever browser you use MAKE SURE TO DO THIS: in tools>internet options>privacy>advanced: here check allow session cookies & accept cookies FROM THE 1st PARTY: UNDER 3rd PARTY check the 'block 3rd party cookies'

They do the same thing, theyre just made by 2 different companies. I use IE since its so basic and works well, but some people like firefox because it does some different stuff, like tabbed browsing.

Well the run the same way but in my opinion Foxfire is better cause you don't get pop ups and ads and all that jazz like you do with explorer. Other then that basicly the same :)
