I recently read an article about PET scans of Schizophrenic brains and how the human mind seems "to be working at it's most creative". "The brain is making its own, highly realistic world" Schizophreniacs experience it, and can't tell the difference between reality and this realistic world. Their thoughts command them instead of the opposite.
Is there any research or personal experiences that anyone is aware of that involves a "normal" human brain being able to experience what the mind of a schizophreniac experiences?
Meaning the "normal" brain/person has control over his/her "creative mind" or "virtual reality"? Where they can shut it off or they can turn it on, while knowing the difference between what is real and what is not.
I know this is complicated. I explained it as best I could.
