No, your body is getting ready to make milk to feed your baby. Even if you don't breastfeed or not, your body won't know yet. And, no that isn't a preterm labor signal. You can give birth at any time between now and up to 2 weeks after you due date safely. There are other signs that will tell you that labor is coming and milk leaking is one thing that will happen, more towards the end, no matter if you are early or late. It has to come out eventually.

Effacement, dilation, losing your mucus plug, contractions are some of the bigger signs that you should be looking for.

It could be... I know with my first I was leaking for a week before I had him...my second and third no leaking. I think it's your body's way of being ready for the baby. I would say at 36 weeks and 4 days have your bag packed and be ready.....

It just means that your boobs are getting read to feed your little one. This is very normal. Some women do and some don't. I leaked for about a month prior to my arrival, I had to use the nursing pads to help keep my top from getting wet. Best of luck and congratulations/

No....colostrum has nothing to do with going into labor.

It just means that your milk factory is getting set up to go into business. :-) Some moms leak much earlier than you did, some never leak. Anything is normal.

I leaked with my first two pregnancies, but it doesn't mean you are going into labor. I started leaking at 35 weeks, and delivered at 41 weeks 6 days! I just kept breast pads readily at hand, and kept them really clean. Lotsa luck and congratulations!!!
