It all depends. It's certainly flattering to have someone around who is crushing on you. I've had flirty relationships with women that went on for years. It can be a lot of fun and some of those women are now amongst my best of friends.

On the other hand, it can also be extremely annoying. Especially if the crushing girl gets jealous a lot and interferes in one's romantic life.

So, if outside of the crush there is a good friendship and the two have fun together, then the crush is just a nice little bonus. If not, they guy would want her to move on the sooner the better.

well im a guy and its the same for me. ive been really good friends with this girl jade for a whilee. we are in a band and we hang out and stuff and ive asked her out in the past and she has said that she just wants to be good friends. but i still really like her in that way and i really want to ask her again but i know what the answer will be. i suppose its ok tho because no matter what we will always be friends so its not as if i will miss out on anything. hope that helps?

If the guy doesn't dig you, then give up on ideas of romance with him for your sake: if the guy's a good guy, he'll feel guilty or weird that you like him but he doesn't reciprocate. If he's a bad guy, he could use it to take advantage of the fact that you like him. I guess some guys might find it flattering or whatever, but if he really doesn't like you, then don't give him the power of mooning around and fawning over him.

Just because he's not interested in dating or or going out on a date at all doesn't mean he doesn't want to be friends. I say don't beat yourself up over it because it's just a phase. Things like that happens every day. Be his friend unless he says other wise and move on. He's one out a billion!

I think all guys are probably flattered a little bit even when they don't like the girl back, unless she is stupid about it. She doesn't have to go around acting all ga-ga around him and stuff.

i hope not, cuz if they did ... they would end up being a doormat, it duznt matter what the guy they wants.. if hes not interested, dont waste their time or they mite get taken for a ride, big time,..they need to find someone who is interested and will give them the attention they deserve and visa versa...

LOL ok...
1. girl has crush
2. guy doesn't like girl
3. DOES HE WANT HER TO LIKE HIM

Yes: if he thinks her having a high opinion of him can get him something else (such as a date with her best friend?)

No: under normal circumstances--
