You could take a vacation or go on a walk and have a close friend set a romantic dinner for two in your house. You could also suprise him with some family and close friends waiting at home with a suprise party or do something wacky like just hang out like a bunch of big kids and play with silly string, cake, ice cream and the whole works of a big kids party.

Coupons hand made by you for things he likes to do. ie Good for one night out with the boys, with 2 days notice, or good for one backrub, or maybe even more personal. The point is that you take the time to think about things he would like and go to the trouble of making them.

i always wanted to jump outta the cake...not nude or anything...just like in a bikini or something...but that would be difficult to do really...you could blind fold him and take him on a long drive...then back to the house...and have a surprise party...five years is not THAT long...surely you can come up with something...and why not sexual?...that is probably what he wishes the most for...

Buy him an Xbox360. Do something he likes to do. His birthday is about HIM not you. It's not for romance it's for getting something you always wanted. Like that girl at my work who is always looking at me. My birthday is next week baby.....
