i think its a great idea, when we have the technology we could eventually clone humans without higher brain functions (vegetables) to use for organ harvesting... i agree this sounds pretty disgusting but with the amount of lives it could save, who cares?

i dont think people are getting what i mean... like it wont affect overpopulating because the clones wont be self aware and will probably live in organ farms or tubes or something... and as for playing god, i guess the inventor of penecilin was playing god too right? i ******* hate people that use the playing god card, we do it everyday we think for ourselves, morons

YOU CAN NOT BE SERIOUS.That is a pure rape of the natural world. And proves the fact that man wants to play GOD.How would you like to be cooked up in a lab. Then you can really look to them as devils with no if, and, or whats about it.

I think there is a much better solution to harvesting "empty human vessels" for their organs. Instead of growing a whole human being, all that has to be done is to grow the organ in question from stem cells and using and animal host, such as a pig or another animal with similar physiology to human beings. I think you can agree this is a more humane way to go about the same task.

It's an interesting theory. Have you been watching the Matrix? The trouble with human cloning, as you may know if you've watched any films about cloning, is that the clone, is always evil, therefore, if we create a supposedly cabbage like clone, it will inevitably over time learn how to think for itself, it will raise an army and try to take over the world. But, that's a worst case scenario I suppose. :)

To clone a organ could be large and end transplant waits if we could regenerate coronary heart, liver or in spite of. It won't require each and all of the rejection drugs. so some distance as entire man or woman i think of that's undesirable. thinking each and all of the clones of different animals die early and terrible deaths look what ensue to Dolly the sheep. We have been given adequate human beings yet we do ought to artwork on offering organs and you do no longer ought to make an entire man or woman.

It could be very good.

When it becomes possible to take a hair or fingernail and grow a kidney, liver, or blood supply everyone will be glad that cloning is possible.

The bad is if you have to kill a baby to accomplish the same goal. There are enough people that die a natural death that the raw material for a successful non-controversial cloning program should be possible.

So you wish for the wealthy to clone?10 more G.Bush's?20 more Bin Larden's?25.More Tony Blaires?Let humans develop as nature intended!Do you really think those in power would allow "Clones"except those meeting with their own ideals?

In some ways it could be a good idea...never short of top notch medical staff, or world leaders who strive for peace everywhere etc. but what would happen if it fell into the wrong hands and whole armies of serial killers or suicide bombers were produced at will.....doesn't bear thinking about
