I means you need to find another therapist and get your money back.

That the therapist seriously needs a break from his work, and you need to find another one.

If he can't GIVE, only take, well that's not helping you is it?

On the other hand, if you are avoiding your issues and playing games, maybe this dynamic has started up because on some level, you'd rather NOT focus on yourself and he is unconsciously playing along with that unspoken need of yours.

maybe he is trying to build your confidence and be your friend by opening up to you. Then when you feel comfortable you can open up to him. He is trying to gain your trust...that is a good sign for a therapist, because he cares about building a relationship with you, not just do his job and call it a day.
