I have a shoe box of cassettes that I need digitized. I'd rather not do it on my computer, so I'm looking for a stand alone recorder or something like that. I would also like to have the tracks automatically separated. I'm open to a stand alone that has a hard drive or could transfer directly to DVD. Directly to CD would make for more busy work.
Thanks

What is the coolest, cheapest stand-alone with a hard drive?

What's wrong with a stand alone CD recorder?
But if you want to put it on DVD, then a DVD recorder would work just as well. Just hook up your playback jacks of your cassette player to either your receiver audio input jacks and from your receiver output jacks to your DVD recorder audio input jacks. Or you could hook up the cassette player directly to your DVD recorder, just hook up the players playback jack to the input audio jack.
