Many ways. Best is connect the second hard drive as primary slave or secondary master. and format it if its unformatted. Boot from the first hard drive. The fastest and easiest method is to copy the files you want from one hard drive and paste them on the other harddrive (given that the second harddrive is formatted). Once this copy is complete, simply delete the files from your first harddrive.
On some computers, copy + paste is faster than cut + paste. This is the method I use.

Open Windows Explorer and drag the files (right mousie clk) to where you want them and choose; Move / Copy which ever you want.

just select the folders or files, cut or copy to the other drive, don't change folders or files of installed programs, this would cause that they stop working or windows errors
