the film opens with Charles Mingus', "Hatian Fight Song" playing in the background and a tight shot of a slightly deformed infant wearing prosthetic duck feet and a pope-hat laying on a large block of ice. the camera pulls back to reveal the block of ice in a large cotton field, with slaves tending it. in the distance, there is a large, emperor penguin wearing a dark red cloak and hood, and a silver mask (only the beak can be seen- protruding from the shadowy hood) whipping one of the slaves with a visably irritated serpent.
the penguin slowly approaches the baby on the ice-block, and struggles to mount the ice-block (causing the hood to fall off, and reveal the penguin-like nature of the hooded penguin). once he has successfully climbed atop the ice-block, he places the baby on top of his feet, squats over the baby (as a penguin does when it is protecting an egg from the brutal winter) and begins masturbating furiously.

I believe someone would like this somewhere. I am certain it would be great at the Tijuana Film Festival.

It was a good beginning. You lost it at the end.

Though it depends on the audience you are aiming for.

I wouldn't like it, but you should pitch it to the producers of Brokeback Mountain.
