How can a twenty year old college student be fashionable even if they don't follow fashion?

I am such a tomboy and I want to change my looks. I want to know where should I start.

When you say you're a tomboy, do you mean you prefer to wear jeans, sweatshirts, and t-shirts? Because there is nothing wrong with dressing casually. If this is what you mean, then all you need to "change" your look is polish it a bit.

Nicer jeans; khaki pants; cords.

T-shirts with a little more "class" or attitude instead of big, baggy ones with sayings on them. New ones could be narrow stripes; clothing logos; the kind of retro ones that have French sayings on them with old-fashioned graphics. Or, of course, henleys from Old Navy which are classic and simple.

Sweatshirts: nice, heavy good quality ones in colors you like.

Shoes: whatever is "you," whether it's flats, Nikes, Skechers, whatever.

You can still be "tomboyish" but in a more polished way.

well first i would say to firget a make ova ,like get ur hair done and get ur eye brows arch and stuff.den get some skirts and some high heels and always dress fresh and be a girly gurl.

Start with some cute jeans and girly shirts.Then work your way up to skirts,dresses,etc.

u will looks great in anything you wear as long as you comfortable and confident with what u wear =)If u wanna look more girlie...just switch ur shirt to a simple and sweet blouse...dont push ur self to wear skirt/dress if u didnt like it...
u can look so feminine with ur jeans...trust me =)
