Round Up or DSMA. It takes more than one application. In fact, it takes persistance. Try several treatments over the summer. Don't be discouraged if you still have a few stragglers next summer.

I would think an application of an herbacide such as Ortho's weed-b-gone or Round Up should suffice. More than one application may be needed for this sturdy weed. Note that this plant is very poisonous if ingested.
