I hate them. I have to give them all the time here in Florida!!! Kills me they need a discount but they can afford to have a house up north and one in Florida. You shouldn`t get a discount unless you need one!! Cheap a holes!!

Seniors deserve a discount. Most are on fixed incomes. When seniors have retired they do not have the luxury of going out and buying anything they want. Inflation has outpaced the increases in ss benefits and leaves them with less spending money every year.
South carolina has a 1% sales discount for seniors over 85 y.
LOL
This is absurd, but every penny helps if you can get to the store at this age.
Seniors deserve more, as it is us that kept the economy going when things were tuff.
Yea I understand there is no reward for gratitude.

I just wish that the age requirement would be consistant. I am 62 and am able to get discounts such as 15% off on Amtrak. But when you look at ads that indicate Senior Discount and you call them you find out that it is 65.

Since I'm going to be a senior, I know I'll need all the discounts I can get. So I'm all for it.

I think it is good. I hope to be a senior someday. But for now if I want something big I'll ask my Mom to get it for me with her Senior's Discount and then I'll pay her back.

I think they are great but I think they should lower the age that is considered a senior citizen!

I think it's great. A lot of elderly people get to the point where they can't work anymore, and there social security/retirement (if they even have one) does not pay very much. Why shouldn't they get a "break"- they've earned it :)
