the title king was for REAL, the man had a beautiful voice and A god given talent , he also was one of the most compassionate people on this earth, he detested bigotry and Racism and gave money and gifts to all people, their will never be anyone who could do what he did and be so humble, like him . the wardrobe was for show only. he was the REAL DEAL.

Yes, I think Elvis was one of the greats. His voice was well developed with natural abilities from a very young age. His gospels & blues sounds turned into some of the best rockabilly & love music of all time. But he allowed fortune & his drug addictions to ruin his voice & his life. So sad.

yes if you listen to the early Sun recordings you can hear the genius and beauty of his voice. When he was in the army in Germany he took singing and voice coaching and added power and depth but it was never as good as those early rockabilly wonders.

Yes, a great singer. Universal Records is grossly overstating it to call him 'Artist of the Century' - he didn't write his own songs - but he was a great performer. His performance of 'Guitar Man' in the Comeback Special is one of my favourite recordings ever.
