i am sure most will say that would be too creepy and stalker-like if i dont leave any clues or names on the card to the person i fancied. Just want to know if you will be glad of the card knowing you have a secret admirer or be scare-**** of who it may be from...

Well that depends as long as your not acting creepy with what you write on the card. As long as it's nice and sweet then she'll be happy and curious unless she doesn't want an admirer. Just be careful what you write.

depends on what the card says. if it's something like i love you but i want to kill you etc.. i can see her freaking out but something romantic seems harmless enough. however i got an anonymous love note left on my car during the OJ Simpson murder trial. it was creepy to say the least. there was a light dusting of snow on the ground, but no snow on the note, and no foot prints other than mine around my car at 4 a.m. i was on my way to work. i read the note. "i think you're really pretty, etc...signed OJ" I WAS FREAKING OUT. I never did find out who sent it to me.
Keep it simple, and sincere. If there's a chance she'll be afraid, sign the card. if you know her best friend or someone close to her ask they're opinion, that way there's no chance for her to think you're a stalker. if she freaks or gets a little nervous that person can easily calm her down cause they'll know it's just you. Personally, i like a little mystery. maybe you could send a photo of yourself in the form of puzzle pieces when you're ready to reveal yourself. and/or you could make the photo of yourself holding a sign asking her out, with your number on it. anyway good luck and i hope you get the girl. I'm a hopeful romantic. ; )
p.s. you can always put a little mystery into the relationship AFTER you get the girl. try finding a creative way to ask her out. once she thinks you're a stlker it's pretty much over. 1st impressions are lasting ones.

Well, let's see, it is now August, you are thinking of sending a card in February, which is six months away.
Why not just ask her out for a drink next time you see her?

Are you really late or really early? Because at 6 months it could go either way? I think that would be freaky.
