i dont know much about him, but i cant help but think he is a redneck, surely we should have someone more diplomatic at the UN

Does a bear --- in the woods? He's been appointed to undermine the UN, show diplomacy doesn't work. That way the US can strike first, preemptively, talk only to our "friends", be REAL men and not French- type negotiators.

Not really. They picked him for his lack of backbone in order for him to be more easily controlled. So the question is: is the puppet of a neocon a neocon himself?
I suspect that his position at the UN will be renewed for this exact reason even though he has been completely ineffective.
