I personally do not care for it and I really don't like tongue piercing. I have a hard enough time seeing it let alone trying to understand what they are saying...

Be who you are. Never let anyone determine your life, your mood, your happiness or unhappiness. Why should they? If they do they only do so with your permission.
People who find it unacceptable are worth nothing and so are there opinions.
Be you and be proud that you have the courage to do just that. At least you know more about yourself than the people who may judge you. X X

There are some people who'd take exception to you whoever you are, for whatever trivial reason. Just be yourself and that way you'll make good mates who like you for who you are.
Don't bother with people who find you unacceptable; you're unacceptable when you're mugging old ladies for their bus fare!
